Liberal Democrats on the other hand have a history of modifying their speaking pattern depending on whom the audience happens to be. While speaking to a black church congregation during the 2008 presidential election, then-Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton shamelessly donned a southern drawl to mimic block voters, much to the chagrin of renowned black cometnator Walter Williams.
