Deroy Murdock says Jussie Smollett should be imprisoned

If disgraced Hollywood actor Jussie Smollett weren't a rich, powerful, privileged member of Hollywood, he'd be in jail right now, maintains conservative political commentator Deroy Murdock.

"If this person’s name were Jussie Jones or Jussie Smith, I think he would be behind bars right now," Murdock said Saturday on "Fox News' "Fox & Friends," adding that the decision by prosecutors to drop all charges against Smollett ""overturn[ed] the basic American idea of equal justice under law."
