According to Uproxx, former 'The View' co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck nearly quit the job in 2006, midway through her 10 year tenure, due to an on-air argument with Barbara Walters. Their argument was about the FDA potentially selling the morning-after pill as an over-the-counter drug. Hasselback opposed the pill, and Walters told her that they “need to learn how to discuss these sort of things in some sort of rational way.
