Robert Downey Jr. turned 54 this year and Chris Evans took to Twitter to wish him a good birthday. Evans called Downey Jr. “the myth,” “the incomparable” and “the indomitable.” He said: “ You’re a true original. Thank you for carrying us these last 10 years!!!!” Although on screen the two characters don’t seem to get along well, off-screen they seem to be good friends.
