On November 12, 2018, NASCAR icon David Pearson passed away. He was 83.

Known as the "Silver Fox" for his cunning racing style, Pearson was a three-time champion and was most known for his rivalry with Richard Petty.

"I never went into any race I didn't think I could win," Pearson once said.

What a legend. Rest in peace, David.
