Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast
Today will be relatively quiet besides some passing clouds that could bring a sprinkle or flurry. We'll have some gusty wind with highs in the upper-40s to lower-50s. Tonight that wind will die down quickly with a few clouds and lows in the upper-20s. Thursday will be breezy again and cooler with highs only in the low-40s. If you live near Lake Michigan it will kind of be a raw day with the wind coming right off the lake. There is the potential for a little rain/mix Thursday night into Friday morning. Some sun will peek out by the afternoon with highs in the low-50s. Temps around 60 may make it here for Saturday, but it looks like we'll have a pretty good chance of rain on Sunday with mainly 50s expected. Gusty SE winds will keep it cooler near the lake. So far it has been relatively dry which is good for the ongoing flooding situation on a couple of rivers. River flood warnings remain in place for the Wolf River and the Fox River. The latest data is showing those rivers slowly dropping.
