According to a report by Reuters, on Tuesday, President Donald Trump's administration took a step back from its threat to close the US border with Mexico, stating that Mexico had taken steps to deal with the ongoing immigration problem. White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said that the Trump administration sees Mexico as 'stepping up and taking a greater sense of responsibility' for dealing with the flow of immigrants that US officials claim are overwhelming ports of entry along the border.
