Shocking footage shows thief trying to flee cops while towing a stolen caravan

A bungling thief has been jailed after he was caught on dashcam trying to flee police – while towing a CARAVAN. Steven Beeson, 40, was filmed speeding towards a motorway in the early hours of the morning. He failed to stop for officers and was filmed trying to speed away from traffic cops around a roundabout at 4.40am on June 22 last year. Incredibly, Beeson hit speeds of almost 70mph despite towing the 20ft-long caravan. Officers from the Central Motorway Police Group became suspicious when checks revealed the Mitsubishi L200 pick-up truck and Elddis caravan had false plates.
