“Dark Phoenix” will be out in theaters later this year and end an era of the “X-Men” franchise. According to Comicbook.com, this will be the second attempt to adapt the Marvel Comics storyline. Director SImon Kinberg said he recognizes it didn’t go well the last time the franchise tried to do that. He said: "The underlying material is just so good and frankly it’s better than we’ve been as storytellers in some cases.
