Geek.com reports a rare first edition copy of 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone' sold for nearly $90,000 in an auction in the U.K. this week. Bonhams auction house put the book up for sale on March 27, with an initial estimated price of $51,914. It later upped the estimate to $77,860. The copy originally belonged to Christopher Little, J.K. Rowling’s first literary agent. The book featured typos, including a misspelling of “Philosopher’s." The book was signed by Rowling in 2003.
