Rita Moreno Recognized With Rare 'PEGOT' Status

The Peabody Awards announced it will recognize legendary actress, singer and dancer Rita Moreno.
The actress will be honored with the career achievement award during the Peabody’s annual gala in New York City on May 18.
The 87-year-old entertainer will become the third person to achieve "PEGOT" status by winning a Peabody, Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony award.
SF Gate reports that Moreno will join Barbra Streisand and Mike Nichols as one of only three people in the world to hold the distinction.
