Hopefully the strong winds yesterday did not blow away your trash bins or other outdoor objects. The good news is that the winds have subsided greatly and won't be an issue today. A cold front passed through the area last night and changed the wind flow out of the northwest. Temperatures today will be climbing into the lower 50s with partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. Winds will range between 5 to 15 mph. Tonight, temperatures will fall into the upper 20s with partly cloudy skies and light winds out of the northeast around 5 mph. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies return for your Friday with highs in the upper 40s. It does get cooler this weekend with temperatures dropping into the lower 40s both Saturday and Sunday but at least it will continue to stay dry in our area with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies. Temperatures rise back up to near 50 on Monday and then the lower to mid 50s on Tuesday and Wednesday. River flood warnings remain in place for the Wolf River and the Fox River. It does appear it will be at least another 2-3 weeks between the rivers recede below flood stage but at least the latest data is showing the rivers beginning to level out and slowing dropping.
