THE BA VANG PAGODA
This beautiful Pagoda which is considered as North Vietnam's temple with the largest sanctuary is situated in Thanh Dang Mountain, Quang Ninh Province. It is at a height of 340 m from sea level overlooking Uong Bi City.
This Pagoda was built in At Dau year, King Le Du Tong Dynasty, or 1676 and it has survived many wars and turbulent political events over time. This temple is still continuously being developed and many devout Buddhists and tourists are visiting.
