According to Comicbook.com, the new “Hellboy” movie has faced obstacles in its casting. Ed Skrein stepped down from playing the Asian-American role of Ben Daimio a week after being cast. A month later they found actor Daniel Dae Kim to replace him but gave him little time to prepare. Kim told Collider he only had two days and 20 hours on a plane to prepare for the role. He said: "I did a lot of reading and, thankfully, there's a lot of source material."
