'Godzilla: King of the Monsters' Takes Play Out Of 'Aliens' Playbook

ComicBook.com reports Godzilla: King of the Monsters will be a different beast than 2014's Godzilla. The first film focused solely on Godzilla and the world's reaction to the monster coming to the surface. But the sequel will involve a host of other Titans, like Mothra, so director Mike Dougherty changed how he approached the film. He explained that just as in the 'Alien' franchise, while the first movie was more about horror and suspense, the sequel 'Aliens' was more centered on action.
