Reuters reports scientists said Thursday that climate change was a leading cause of the deadly floods in the U.S. upper Midwest.
The “bomb cyclone” in Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri has killed at least four people.
Several scientists said climate change played a part in the recent storm, as it did with recent devastating storms like Hurricane Harvey in Houston in 2017.
