Five year-old Flint is the newest guest at the SPCA Serving Erie County. Barn manager Sheila Foss says that he came to the facility with a pony named Opal as part of a case from Allegany County. "They seized a hundred and forty farm animals so they were transferred to us to find new homes." according to Sheila. Flint stands just over three feet and is fully grown. While the Mini Horse may be cute and friendly Sheila says that he wouldn't make a good house pet, adding "I mean a horse is a horse no matter what size, so a stable kept, pasture kept is the best." Flint has a date with the Doc to be neutered and after that he and Opal the Pony will be up for adoption in about three weeks. For more information you can check out the SPCA website.
