Devin Nunes filed a lawsuit against Twitter and a parody account for $250 million. Instead of shutting it down, Nunes made it more popular making it go from 1,200 followers to 489,000 followers. Executive producer Andy Lassner from “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” helped with the growing following. According to UPROXX, Lassner encouraged Twitter to get the parody more followers than Nunes. Others such as Stephen Colbert, George Takei and Jimmy Kimmel also spread the word.
