Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast
Astronomical spring technically begins in the late afternoon today, and to kick off the first day we could have a few light rain showers moving in. There could be a few wet snowflakes mixed in during the morning north of Highway 29 but then it will turn to all rainfall as temperatures rise into the lower- to mid-40s. Winds will be out of the WSW around 5 to 10 mph. Tonight, any precipitation will move out early in the evening with overnight lows around 30. We go back into the upper-40s to around 50 Thursday with mostly sunny skies, but breezy conditions. Another weak disturbance moves into the Upper Midwest Friday which will bring in a few clouds and also cooler temperatures in the lower-40s. The next chance of any rainfall will be Sunday.. Right now it appears just a few light rain showers will breeze through the area. A relatively quiet forecast over the next will help the current flooding situation across Northeast Wisconsin.
