Jury finds DPD corporal guilty of assaulting naked mental health patient at hospital

A jury has found Detroit Police corporal Dewayne Jones guilty of assault and battery after being charged in the assault of a mental health patient at Detroit Receiving Hospital in August. Jones is due back in court for sentencing on May 1, 2019 at 9 a.m., according to the judge.
