Mother Nature Network reports that a scientist in California claims to have found evidence that humans are capable of sensing the magnetic fields around them. Joe Kirschvink, a geophysicist at the California Institute of Technology has been testing humans for a magnetic sense and believes he may have found proof of its existence. Kirschvink's research focused on rotating magnetic fields that were passed through study participants while their brain waves were measured.
