Moment hundreds line the streets to say goodbye to a popular Big Issue seller
This is the moment hundreds of people lined the streets to say goodbye to a popular Big Issue seller who survived the 7/7 London Bombings. Antony Lucas, 52, known as Tony, was a well-loved member of his local community and spent over a decade selling the magazine in the town where he lived. He made such an impression that a huge crowd come out to pay their respects as his hearse embarked on his final journey past the spot where he had stood and sold the Big Issue for the last 11 years. His family say he found a home in Paignton, Devon, when he moved there after being caught up in the terrorist attack in 2005 as he did not feel safe in London anymore. Tony was walking past the bus in Tavistock Square when the bomb went off and disappeared for three days before being found with trousers "burnt right up his legs."
