According to Reuters, police in the Netherlands arrested a Turkish man suspected of shooting people on a tram.
Authorities added that the suspect killed three people and wounded five others in the city of Utrecht.
The shooting took place in a residential district with a large immigrant population.
The man has been identified as Gokmen Tanis, a 37-year-old man of Turkish descent.
A local prosecutor said Tanis had previous run-ins with police, including a shooting dating back to 2013.
