Deputies conducting death investigation at a Tampa apartment complex

Detectives are conducting a death investigation at an apartment complex in Tampa. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to 13712 North 19th Street for a report of shots fired Sunday around 6:30 p.m. By the time the deputies arrived on scene, authorities say the victim had already been transported to the AdventHealth Hospital by a private car. He died at the hospital.
