Former Nissan Motor boss Carlos Ghosn is out on $9 million bail on charges of financial fraud.
Reuters reports that Ghosn was removed as the company's CEO. He remains a member of the company's board.
A Tokyo court banned him from attending Nissan Board meeting, which is being held Tuesday.
Ghosn said he was disappointed that a Tokyo court had rejected his request to attend the car maker’s board meeting.
Ghosn said he was still willing to carry out his duties as a board member.
