Despite the online trolls, “Captain Marvel” is having great success at the box office. A writer of the “Verge” noticed YouTube changed its algorithm in relation to actress Brie Larson. Before, top results showed anti-”Captain Marvel” videos but now they show interviews and official videos. According to Comicbook.com, YouTube marked Larson’s name as a “news-worthy” search item. This means that videos from “authoritative sources” are moved to the top, as opposed to conspiracy videos.
