Light snow possibly affecting passes in the evening and overnight

In the valley, the isolated thunderstorms have been ruled out, but there is a potential for scattered showers overnight throughout the county. This storm may linger into Monday, bringing some scattered precipitation in the mountains. We currently have a Winter Weather Advisory that is in effect Sunday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. for the Kern County Mountains including Tehachapi and Lake Isabella.
