Two storms moving through the county before dry sunny conditions

We are tracking a storm that continues to move through Kern County and may linger until Monday. We currently have a Winter Weather Advisory that will take effect Sunday at 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. for the Kern County Mountains including Tehachapi and Lake Isabella. Above 4,000 feet we could expect light dusting to two inches of snow and above 5,000 feet we may see four to eight inches of snow.
