“Captain Marvel” sets up the future of the franchise for Marvel Cinematic Universe fans. According to Comicbook.com, the post-credit scenes give a sneak peek of what is coming. The scene shows Carol Danvers meeting Bruce Banner, Captain America, War Machine and Black Widow. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said introducing a new character leads “anticipation” to see the interaction with existing characters.
