Disney is preparing to close its acquisition of Fox’s film and TV assets. TheWrap reports Disney CEO Bob Iger answered questions regarding the process on Thursday during the company’s annual shareholder meeting. He said the Fox brand will remain intact. Disney will continue to release films under the banner of 20th Century Fox.
During the Disney quarterly earnings conference call in February, Iger said the studio plans to continue making R-rated movies such as Fox’s “Deadpool.
