Nonprofit Advocacy Day held at State Capitol

Nonprofit organizations from across Michigan attended Legislative Day at the State Capitol Wednesday. The event encourages members of the nonprofit sector to come out and speak to legislators and elected officials about issues that affect our communities. One of the hot button topics coming out of the talks, was the need to get a more complete and accurate count on the census in Michigan.
