Netflix To Adapt Gabriel Garcia Marquez's ‘One Hundred Years of Solitude’ To Series

Broadcasting Cable.com reports that Netflix has entered an agreement to adapt the Gabriel Garcia Marquez novel 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' to a Spanish-language TV series. Rodrigo Garcia and Gonzalo Garcia Barcha, sons of the author, will be executive producers. The book tells the multi-generational story of a family in Colombia. The classic has sold over 50 million copies since being published in 1967.
