Meeting My Vine Best Friend For The First Time

Let’s face it, the era of internet has become the bane of the phone’s existence. No one ever calls anymore. Conversation is limited to online chat apps and we only use our smartphones for their cameras and search engines. Sure, we might play a few games and use social media apps, but by the looks of it it might not just be about that.

The rapid growth of technology is taking its toll on us. It seems as though every day there is a new version of a phone, shinier and prettier than the last. Computers are shrinking in size and television is trying to make up for it by growing in inches. This puts a lot of pressure on a person in this consumerist world. It can sometimes feel like we’re changing appliances in the same rate as we’re changing socks, and it’s quite a troubling thought.

It seems that humans as species aren’t the only ones affected by this plague. The moving images on a screen can captivate almost anything that has a functioning set of eyes. The vivid colors and the gracious motions can entrance everyone and it seems like many of us are far from immune.

In this situation we have a very unique case where two "viners" (people who make vines), throughout social media have managed to build quite a relationship base upon common interest, specifically the creation of vines.

To quote the: "We met on vine in 2014 and maintained a strong bond using FaceTime. Despite never being able to meet in person we considered ourselves best friends. This is our surprise reaction as we seen each other for the first time in person!"

We're guessing that her family has arranged this wonderful surprise and we are guessing it is because she might have talked about her for a while implying that she has been talking with this internet person for a while and loves her work. For the most part this video talks about it self as their reactions when they first see each other are nothing short of priceless.

We hear of stories of great friendships and long term friendships, childhood friendships but rarely do we hear about friendships like the one in this video. This is one of those things that people just stumble upon throughout their life, if they are lucky that is.
