Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast
To give you an idea of how cold it will be today, the record low maximum temperature for today in Green Bay is 7° set back in 1887. We are going to get awfully close to that today with a forecast high of 7°. It's a record that many of us really didn't want to have to deal with in March. It will be blustery as well with wind chills well below zero all day long. A weak disturbance will pass through the area with a few scattered flurries or a snow shower. Any possible accumulation would be minor if anything at all. Overnight lows will be around 0. Cold and blustery conditions will continue on Tuesday with a few flurries possible. Highs will top out in the upper-teens. It will be partly cloudy and cold again on Tuesday night with a low in the low-single digits. Wednesday we'll have some sun with highs only near 20. We may actually make it above freezing by Saturday, but a system rolls through Sunday with some rain and snow. Too early to make the call on that one.
