Business Insider reports Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul said he would vote in favor of blocking President Donald Trump's national emergency declaration. In a speech to nearly 200 Republicans on Saturday the senator said he objected to allowing Trump to exercise "extra-Constitutional powers." Last month, Trump declared a national emergency to secure funds to build a wall along the US-Mexico border. Paul said, "We may want more money for border security, but Congress didn't authorize it.
