Sequel For 'Edge of Tomorrow' In the Works

A sequel to the Tom Cruise-starring Edge of Tomorrow is finally moving forward.
ComicBook.com reports that Warner Bros. is tapping Matthew Robinson to write the script.
Deadline reports that the sequel aims to bring back Cruise, co-star Emily Blunt, original director Doug Liman.
The film is inspired by the Japanese light novel All You Need is Kill.
The movie was a surprise hit.
It earned over $370 million worldwide and scored 90 percent positive reviews on aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes.
