She's a barber and wants to be a part of Lovejoy's Renaissance

Sammi Red was probably destined to become a barber. Her parents are barbers and she comes from a long line o=f barbers on both sides of the family. She opened he shop in the Lovejoy neighborhood. It's an area that's had it's challenges, but Sammi says it's making a comeback and she wants to be a part of it, adding "I figured what better place to contribute and make an honest living at the same time, than to do it in my neighborhood." She would like to expand the shop and add more barbers. Sammi is glad to be carrying on the family tradition and she feels she is making a difference in her neighborhood.
