Samsung is set to change the cellphone game with a folding smartphone.
Huawei's consumer CEO, Richard Yu, told Business Insider that his company had prototyped a folding phone design.
The phone was similar to Samsung's Galaxy Fold.
The company killed the idea.
Why?
Because it was "so bad."
Samsung's Galaxy Fold has a dedicated smartphone screen on the front of the device, and a separate larger screen for tablet mode.
