According to Reuters, a man in North Carolina has been charged for an absentee ballot fraud scheme he orchestrated during a congressional election.
Leslie McCrae Dowless has been charged with three felony counts of obstruction of justice, two counts of conspiring to obstruct justice, and two counts of possession of absentee ballots.
The scheme Dowless concocted led to irregularities in the vote count, causing North Carolina's election board to unanimously call for another election.
