Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

This light, fluffy snow will be moving out this morning, then we could see just a couple of afternoon flurries. Luckily it won't be nearly as windy as this past weekend's storm, so blowing and drifting won't be much of an issue. Highs today will be in the low/mid-20s for cleanup. The skies will clear tonight, then it will get cold again for this time of year with lows in the lower single digits below zero. Chilly weather will persist on Thursday for this time of year with just a few clouds. Highs will only top out in the low-20s which is about 10 degrees below normal. If you think that's bad, wait until you see Sunday going into next week. March will come in like a lion with the combination of cold temps & more snow. Snow will return to the area by Friday evening & continue into Saturday with a couple inches possible. FRIGID air moves back in this weekend, especially Sunday. This cold air mass persists into next week and really has no end in the next week or more. If you want spring weather on March 1st, good luck finding that in Northeast Wisconsin. At this rate, perhaps staying in Florida for the time being might be a safer bet.
