36th District Court Judge Davis faces security screening as some sort of security threat

36th District Court Chief Judge Nancy Blount has issued restrictions on Judge Kahlilia Yvette Davis because of some unspecified security threat. The order issued on Friday states Judge Davis must enter the courthouse through the employees entrance, go through a metal detector and if any weapons are found security has the authority to confiscate them. Judge Davis’s attorney Todd Perkins says he needs to find out why.
