Mexican president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador on Monday denounced racism in Mexico a day after the film “Roma” won several honors at the Academy Awards. Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuaron won the best director award at the Oscars on Sunday for his film “Roma,” which tells the story of an indigenous domestic worker employed by a middle-class family in 1970s Mexico City.
