Vice President
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s troops blocked foreign aid convoys from getting into the country. Regional leaders say that this will lead to Maduro facing a new round of sanctions. Brazil called the act “criminal” and is urging allies to join a “liberation effort.” According to Reuters, there were almost 300 wounded in the clashes with security forces. There is also reportedly three protesters who died near the Brazilian border.
