Algarrobo city and beach in Chile

Algarrobo is a central seaside resort of Chile. It is known for beaches like El Canelillo, bordered by a pine forest. Just north of El Canelillo, is the Pájaros Niños Islet, a small rocky promontory inhabited by migrating Humboldt penguins. To the northwest of El Canelillo is the Peñablanca Islet and Punta de Peñablanca, a granite outcrop where marine birds inhabit. La Candelaria Church was built in the 19th century in the center of the city.
