Florida seeks public input on Common Core replacement

Ron DeSantis’ executive order to eliminate the controversial academic standards from Florida schools. RELATED: Common Core standards to remain in place until at least 2020 Florida Department of Education Commissioner Richard Corcoran is reviewing the academic standards for Florida’s Kindergarten through grade twelve students and will provide recommendations to DeSantis. ADVERTISING The Florida Department of Education is seeking input from the public and wants to know what standards concern you and what is your suggested replacement of Common Core.
