NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

A pretty strong cold front moved through last night, and today you'll notice the difference. We'll have plenty of sunshine, but it will be blustery and chilly again. Highs will top out in the low- to mid-20s......almost 20° colder than yesterday. Wind chills be below zero during the morning. Tonight the wind will start to die down, but it will get cold with lows in the low-single digits. Saturday will be cool for this time of year with a few clouds moving in during the afternoon and low-20s. Saturday night still looks quiet for most with lows in the upper-single digits. Some light snow or flurries are possible with temps in the low/mid-20s for Sunday. The farther you live south, the better your chance of some light accumulation of an inch or so. Farther north, little to no accumulation is expected. We could see some accumulating snow next Wednesday and it still will be colder than normal for most of the next 7 days.
