Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

A weak disturbance will be moving through the area today. It will be mild, and with those mild temps, we could actually see a little scattered light rain or snow shower. Highs today will top out in the mid- to upper-30s. Tonight, colder air will be wrapping in behind this weak system. With it, some scattered snow showers will affect parts of the area, and the wind will be picking up. If there's any accumulation it will be minor if anything, but if you live well up in the Northwoods, you could see 1-2". Friday, we'll have plenty of sunshine, but it will be blustery and cool again. Highs will top out around 20°. The weekend appears to be cool for this time of year with sunshine and low-20s for Saturday. Some light snow or flurries are possible with temps in the mid-20s for Sunday. We've finally settled down this very active pattern for the time being, though it still will be colder than normal for most of the next 7 days.
