Second storm moving in overnight bringing rain and mountain snow
6 years ago
11
The second storm this weekend is moving in Sunday night bringing overnight rain and mountain snow. Temperatures will dip and the snow level will lower to 3,500 feet. This means the Grapevine and Highway 58 could be impacted Sunday evening through the early morning hours Monday. Throughout Sunday the snow levels will continue to drop and by Sunday evening we are expecting snow levels to drop to 1,500 feet bringing flurries and possibly creating hazardous travel conditions. Which is why the Kern County Mountains, still have a Winter Weather Advisory that is in effect until Monday at 4 a.m.
