Heart surgery proves unsuccessful for puppy who came to Colorado from Washington

A weeks-old puppy who was brought to Colorado with the hope that a local doctor could fix an abnormality in his heart and prolong his life won’t get the fix he was looking for after all but his caregivers aren’t ready to give up.
