Thermal Dry Fire Practice

I thought it might be interesting to show some of the dry fire work I'm doing. The primary issue with running an observation thermal and a weapon optic thermal is that the two don't line up. When you're just shooting with a red dot, you can rely on your eyes to work together - with two thermals, you can't. That means doing reps to train your muscle memory to place the weapon optic at least close enough to the observation thermal's field-of-view to get on target.

The targets are large washers that I stuck to the wall. Because they are metal, they show up as cold against the wall. You can also see that the center target is reflecting something warmer in the room, so it sometimes is hard to see. (Yes, thermal reflections are a thing. Yes, it's weird.)
